The Uninsured - NYTimes.com
As two of the "10s of millions" of uninsured, this hits home. As it says, the lack of insurance leads to poorer health when the uninsured don't have the means for basic preventive health care. We at least can afford that, but when we look around at the overwhelming majority of Bolivia we see those that can't afford it. Remember that the problem of un-insured, under-insured is a problem in the greatest of economic powerhouses: the USA. Then take a look at the developing countries and see what you see: a lot of people at risk of not even living out a natural span of life.
